There are numerous absorption options for new immigrants, making their first steps in Israel. Apart from independent absorption, aided by governmental funding, you can choose to start off in an absorption center, a kibbutz or a special student absorption program. Find out more in this section

Direct absorption

Direct absorption means that immigrants undergo the absorption process independently and receive financial assistance and counseling. The tasks of renting an apartment, registering for language studies, finding a job, etc. will be carried out unassisted. You can learn more in the Benefits to new immigrants section of this guide.
